Wonderful stuff makes a great pasted back flesh like leather

The only flesh finish in the market I could find

It is indeed a very nice flesh finish. You can use it as it is and get nice glossy finish (but very difficult to burnish). Or you can mix it with water using a 3 to 1 ratio (3x flesh finish and 1x water) plus a light burnish to obtain a matte finish.

It successfully prevents dye to rub off. I use it on hand dyed belts & wallets and neither pants, cards, or bills get stained.

Mixed feelings.

As far as what it’s advertised to do: 5 / 5

But…
It does extremely fast. It’s glossier than tokonole and makes the flesh look wet even when dry. It’s a liquid like milk. But sticks to everything. I put it on with my finger the first time. And I had to roll the dried parts off like you do with glue. It looks like resolene or high gloss top coat really. I don’t think you burnish the flesh side with… I think you just rub it on. It’s too sticky to burnish. The main problem is figuring out where to use a super glossy flesh side in the things I make. It smells pretty bad, it’s not like over powering. So maybe don’t smell it. I don’t know. I just don’t know…

Nice, but shiny

New to leatherwork and had previously had only used Tokonole as a flesh finish. Fenice leaves a sheen that's not for me or the things I make. While quick, easy and more economical to use, it also leaves a slight amount of tackiness. There's a chance I'm using it wrong, but I will stick with Tokonole.

I was skeptical

Listen carefully, there is NOTHING on the market even close to this stuff.
It’s a 10 out of 10
Shut up, but it, and thank me later...
