Mission
The mission of District Leather Supply is to provide rare, exceptional, and/or hard to obtain products in reasonable quantities for reasonable prices to the community of makers and crafters.
Background
Over the past few years, I've had the good fortune to be able to obtain and to work with tons of different leather, tools and supplies from around the world. I owe credit for education and access to a lot of these things to some incredibly talented crafters who belonged to a small network that I helped build. Though, even with their wisdom, it was often a struggle to find what I was looking for, and I usually had to buy way more than I would ever need in order to just try something. This seems to have always been accepted as the pricey and time consuming grail quest that almost every leather worker goes through or wants to go through at some point during their tenure in the craft. I knew there had to be a better way.
For District Leather Supply, I have been able to assemble a product offering that I'm very proud of, which has been made possible by the network of incredible suppliers and partners I have developed relationships with over the years. I've personally vetted and truly believe in each and every product in my store, and it is my hope that these resources will support leather workers in their craft, from the budding hobbyist to the established and seasoned makers.
