Very cool, minimal piece of hardware that flips down to hold a bag/wallet flap in place.  the lever can also be pushed upward to a locked position that further secures the flap.

The grommet fits a 12mm hole (1/2 inch is a little big, but will work), and needs at least 2.5mm (about 6oz) of leather/material to seat snugly.  No special tool required to set the grommet - just place the smaller end inside the larger and and use a press or hammer to apply enough pressure to set the grommet.

These have been lacquered, which preserves the color of the brass and prevents corrosion.
