Description

Vinymo MBT is a unique, bonded, non-lubricated thread for leather working that works very well for both hand sewing and machine sewing.  It's sexy-twisty and it stays that way because the strands are tightly wound and internally bonded.  The thread pulls through the leather extremely smoothly and results in a strong stitch without requiring waxing (though, a light coat of wax is recommended) prior to hand stitching.

Size 5:  Slightly thicker than machine thread size 138
Size 1:  Slightly thinner than machine thread size 207

This is the thread! So many colors. I thought id want #8 for fine things but discovered #5 was just the right size for my 3.25mm irons.

I like better than Tiger thread

I have been looking for a round twisted thread for some time. I have mainly used Tiger thread and like it but it is flat. With all the care I still would pierce the Tiger thread from time to time.
This Vinymo thread is excellent! Won’t unravel, very strong, round and I have yet to pierce it.
I highly recommend this thread if you want to up your game. Great thread and a good variety of colors.

Strong, reliable, easy to stich

Love the feel of this thread. I use 3.0mm punches and found the Ritza thread too thick. I switched to this Vinymo 8 thread and haven't looked back. Currently trying to backfill my Ritza colors with Vinymo.
