Description

 

Vinymo MBT is a unique, bonded, non-lubricated thread for leather working that works very well for both hand sewing and machine sewing.  It's sexy-twisty and it stays that way because the strands are tightly wound and internally bonded.  The thread pulls through the leather extremely smoothly and results in a strong stitch without requiring waxing (though, a light coat of wax is recommended) prior to hand stitching.

Excellent experience!

I accidentally ordered the wrong size thread, sent the team and email and they got back to me in a very timely matter and were super quick to help me out and get me what I needed instead. fantastic customer service. The thread is beautiful and well worth the price for the quality. My favorite thread to sew with and will be getting more!

I can’t speak highly enough of this thread. So durable Nd so vibrant in finish. I’ve tried many different brands of thread and haven’t been more impressed than by Vinymo. Great stuff!

Best poly thread I've tried so far

I have tried Ritza Tiger, Meise, and Xiange out of different poly threads. Ritza was my favorite, but it does not go below .6mm. Meise and Xiange tend to knot up and feel somewhat artificial in hand (which isn't a deal breaker just wanted to mention). Now, I'm using Vinymo #8 which is .5mm the tread feels silky and smooth. My stitching looks incredible even without closing the holes and pushing the tread to sit at an angle (for the classic saddle stitch look). The price is also great! For $22 you get a spool that will last you months if not years.

Amazing quality

The size #8 works perfectly with my sewing machine. It is so much easier to work with than Fil Au Chinois (no offense FAC), and the color selection is amazing. I have several different colors available. Can't recommend it enough!
