The pattern left me wanting for more, but it’s good.

I wish the pattern went more into the technical know hows. I’m an experienced seamstress, but new to leather. I would’ve liked some advice for how to finish my seams properly.

I also think it seems unfinished without a liner. That would be a nice add on.

But for what was included, it was well written, thorough, and had well made diagrams.

Nice pattern but not perfect (for me)

I followed the pattern as exactly as I could and the side panels were 3/16" too small in both height and width which caused me to compensate by creating some wrinkles in the gusset. When I first stitched around the sides there was too much gusset remaining when the sides were finished. I ripped the stitches and distributed the excess around the perimeter creating 5 small wrinkles in lieu of one big wrinkle.

First Try

Used this pattern to make my first bag of any type. And first project with a zipper, too. Appreciate the extra wide, double zipper design. Pleased with the instructions and pattern design. Completed successfully on first attempt handout and hand stitched. Easy transaction, download, and print. Will send a picture.
