This is the the same sturdy canvas that District Leather uses to produce its candy edges.  Each order comes with three 4" x 6" cuts that are ideal for folding into thirds (the way District Leather uses them), or to use however you prefer.

Good for a rough burnish

This is a pretty heavy canvass, as others state, and the edges will tend to fray. However, I tend to use it for a rough buff before using finer cloths, so it does its job well. Just don't expect the absolute cleanest edges; you'll definitely want to follow up with something else.
